1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Foraged, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors to any shared recipe pages.
2. The service
Foraged is a personal recipe collection and meal-planning tool. We allow you to save, organise, and optionally share recipes. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must not share your account with others or use it for any commercial purpose without our written consent. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these terms or are using the service in a way that harms others or us.
4. Your content
You own the recipes and content you save in Foraged. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to store and display it solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to save and share any recipe content. Foraged's recipe import feature fetches publicly accessible recipe data for your personal use.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to access, scrape, or reverse-engineer any part of the service without our permission.
- Upload malicious content or interfere with the service's operation.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Use the service to send unsolicited communications.
6. Shared recipe links
When you share a recipe link, that link is publicly accessible — anyone with the URL can view the recipe. You are responsible for deciding what to share. You can revoke a share link at any time; after revocation, the link will no longer work.
7. Free and Pro tiers
Foraged offers a free tier and a Pro tier. The free tier is subject to usage limits (e.g. a maximum number of saved recipes). Pro tier features are available to paying subscribers. We reserve the right to change tier limits and pricing with reasonable notice.
8. Intellectual property
All software, design, branding, and other materials that make up the Foraged service are our property or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of the service without our written consent.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that recipe imports will always be accurate. Use the service at your own risk.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Foraged. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the service after the effective date of the updated terms constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Texas.
